Every year, the American Geosciences Institute hosts a photography contest for people of all ages during Earth Science Week. This year’s theme was “Exploring Earth Science,” and the contest rules were to take a picture showing how people interact with geoscience, such as land, water, air, and living things. I entered the contest with a photo I took from the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta on October 6th, 2019.
